Actually I was talking crap. Ignore it. I wrote it on a hot afternoon and
when I later read
it, though I aught to send out a retraction but didn't get round to it.
I made my statement whilst watching the schema scolling past during a
dbimport.
In my half asleep state, my observations led me to believe that it was
perhaps loading the table then creating the indexes.
I believe this would be the sensible way to do it (V5 or earlier) and cannot
think of a reasonable argument for it not to do it this way.
Lets see what responses this gets.
