I think that they want to use the 4mm dat drive standard on their servers? You could use tcl and expect. The problem is that you still have to change your tapes. (Unless you have a robot like Storage Tek or something similar.) [See I'm not against TCL and expect if it is used in the right framework. ] -Mikey
