Enterprise Replication Error

Hi, The error "Enterprise replication is not active" is resolved and i am getting another error. I will explain it briefely here. I have two hosts dhl-3l and dhl-6a. Sqlhosts for dhl-3l cia32_3l group - - i=125 cia32_1 onsoctcp dhl-3l cia32_soc g=cia32_3l cia32_6a group - - i=126 cia32_2 onsoctcp 16.138.144.70 cia32_soc1 g=cia32_6a Sqlhosts for dhl-6a cia32_6a group - - i=126 cia32_2 onsoctcp dhl-6a cia32_soc1 g=cia32_6a cia32_3l group - - i=125 cia32_1 onsoctcp dhl-3l cia32_soc g=cia32_3l i made the both the servers online and issued the repl commands as from dhl-3l 1) cdr define server --init cia32_3l This initialized the ER on dhl-3l 2) cdr define server --connect=cia32_2 --init --sync cia32_3l cia32_6a the errors are as follows on dhl-6a 11:10:02 CDR queue memory reduced to 9000K bytes (30% of physical log) 11:10:02 Building 'syscdr' database ... 11:10:02 'syscdr' database built successfully. 11:10:02 CDR queuer initialization complete 11:10:02 CDR connection to server lost, id 125, name <cia32_3l> Reason: Connect failed reason: 7 11:10:02 CDR GC: operation sync connect failed (error 5). 11:10:02 CDR GC: synchronization failed (sync abort, shutting down CDR) 11:10:02 CDR NIF Shutdown: connections all shutdown. 11:10:02 CDR The NIF sub-component has shut down. 11:10:02 CDR shutdown complete Any parameter to set or am i doing something wrong. You need to look at the log on cia32_31. When the network connection was attempted, it was rejected. = By looking in the log of the sync server, you might get some idea of the r= oot cause of the problem. Once that issue is resolved, then things should = work ok. Hi, One solution is that both servers must have the same date and time. Trust relations between servers. Hope this helps.
