Table locked by user, but who?

We're running INFORMIX-SQL Version 2.10.03. After six weeks of consulting with users on changes to one (1) table and one (1) screen form, I was finally ready to make the changes to the table with 7 pages of SQL commands. Only I got a "table locked by user" message. Consulted the Informix-SQL manuals. Consulted the Informix-4GL manuals (wrong product, but they're better written and often offer useful clues). Nothing. Attempting to unlock it brings the information that I am not the locker. Is there a way to find out who has a table locked? Charleen -- I think there should be something in science called the "reindeer effect." I don't know what it would be, but I think it'd be good to hear someone say, "Gentlemen, what we have here is a terrifying example of the reindeer effect."
