I agree that the NE debugger could be better, but I don't think
anything in it would have solved your problem. Your experience is a
good lesson for all: test stored procedures via dbaccess before using
them in your code, just as you would unit test any other complex
modules or other SQL statements. Note that there are trace options in
stored procedures that assist in this (unfortunately, those tools make
the NE debugger look sophisticated!).
