Unlike your situation we had no upgrades. All upgrades (if you can call them) were essentially patches, bug fixes to the application. We had similar assert failures about a month ago. We gave the tech support people all the outputs they requested. Came down to the issue of indexes. We were missing an index. Technically would boil down to a slow processing issue. I have never seen informix engine come down that frequently. May be you might want to check the indexes related to the SQL that you have posted on another thread. We are also on a freeze and could not upgrade to a full tech support release until Jan 15. We had to convince the users for the index build. Platform HP UX 10.20.
