Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I am wondering what is the standard setup for the user, informix ?
It seems strange that the consultant who helped us to install Informix
software created a
the user informix without any .profile setup.
Should I create a /usr/user/informix directory, and then create a .profile
and then add the standard variables such as INFORMIXDIR and INFORMIXSERVER ?
Is it OK to use the ksh for the user, informix ?
Thanks in advance !
