I have posted a couple of times on DBA duties, skills, and requirements. A search of the archives is definitely in order. I might add to the list something about willingness and ability to attend Informix courses, striving toward the Informix Certified Professional award. I'm in a course now, so I'm more enthusiastic than normal. More than for the individual, this should be in the description to justify proper training to management. Though it's expensive, the cost/benefit ratio is well worth it. If the archive search doesn't turn up anything, ask me again and I'll see what I can make up. Good luck, Clem _______________________________________________________________ | Clem Akins clema@informix.com | | International Support formerly | | Informix Software, Inc cwakins@leia.alloys.rmc.com | | Menlo Park, California, USA Standard Disclaimers Apply | | --for personal messages, include my name in the subject-- | |_____________________________________________________________|
