I would say you are wasting your time Dude. If you have to use ACE, and the report isn't too fancy, then you could get ACE to output a simple listing, which you could get sort to sort on the requested fields. You could then use something like awk to add the column headings at the top of each page. ACE is good, but you can't beat 4GL.
