onload problem

1)/home/informix/wg>onunload -t test test1:test
Please mount tape and press Return to continue ...
Please label this as tape number 1 in the tape sequence.
2)after enter database,i drop table test,then
3)/home/informix/wg>onload -t test test1:test
Please mount tape and press Return to continue ...
The database must have logging turned off.
why is this ?

Because onload writes directly to data pages without going through the cache
and
so ignores the logical logs. For consistency the engine insists that the DB be
unlogged during a load. You should also perform a level 0 archive immediately
after reloading the table.
