We upgraded a HP-UX (ver 9 I believe?) from Informix SE 4.x and RDS 4.x to Online 7.11 and RDS 6.0 and have few problems if any. The biggest problem was not getting the immediate speed differences we had hoped. Even after tuning(paying Informix to come do it), we still did not get acceptable performance until we put in a second processor.
