What is a semaphore segment? Have you used 'ipcrm -s' instead of 'ipcrm -m'?
You should only ever have to use the -m option, one for each remaining shared memory segment. No need to action on any semophores.
And usually an 'onmode -ky' would be even more efficient, no need to find out individual segments and separate them from other
instances' segments. Yes, this also serves at cleaning up remaining segments of a down instance.
