What is correct form for dbload command?
Lets say I would like to load from file test.txt two columns to table
called testtable at testbase database. testbase is at testserver. i'm
using testcommand file.
I have tested for example this:
dbload -d testbase@testserver -c x:\\path\\testcommand
After this I got error message "no connect permission".
I have also got some other error messages like:
" server xxx is not listed as a dbserver name in sqlhosts"
" isam error: record not found "
" error logging file name "
etc...

Like the error messages say the dbserver name, either testserver or the
server listed in the INFORMIXSERVER environment variable, is not in the
local sqlhosts file. BTW if you contact a remote server the way you do
below, with database@server, all of your communications will be
filtered through a connection to the local database server engine. To
make a direct connection to the remote server without the local server
acting as a passthrough, which is faster, do the following:
INFORMIXSERVER=testserver dbload -d testbase -c.....

I'm at NT and registry value is correct, at least to my best knowledge.
I tried this:
dbload -d testbase -c e:\\informixsd\\bin\\test
after this, I got error message: "error logging file name". when i give
my command file name again it failures with "no connect permission" and
"ISAM error: no record found"
I don't know what is my problem, becaus if I change value of -d option
to nonsense error message changes. I'm sure I have a command line file
called test at informisd\\bin directory. At informix answears on-line I
can't find such error message as "error logging file name"?

You need to add the '-l error_logging_filename' option. The d, c, and
l options are mandatory, I believe.
