Sqlhosts Option

Hello. I have just inherited a IDS 7.30.TC3 on Windows NT system. In the SQLHOSTS entry for the server, there is an option "x=ol_maxserver", where ol_maxserver is the INFORMIXSERVER name. Does anyone know what the x option is? I checked the documentation but there is nothing there.
