I use powerbuilder10 to connect informix 9.x with DB_LOCALE=en_US.UTF8, all the chinese character cannot be displayed. Is it not support in powerbuilder10 for unicode informix?

As far as I know Powerbuilder internally uses Informix ESQL/C to talk to IDS, and Informix ESQL/C is not Unicode enabled like what Informix ODBC is (based on its APIs). What's CLIENT_LOCALE set to? How are you inputting data? Is it in UTF-16/UCS-2 form? Its equally important to know how(does it take care of data conversion on its own?) Powerbuilder sends data to ESQL/C.
