How would you arrange 2 disks on 2 SCSI buses?

Hello, I'd like to ask for your collective opinions about how you would arrange an Informix installation. The processor is a Sun Sparc2, running SunOS, and Online 5. Total database requirements are about 500Mb (but then allowing for growth, lets say a 1Gb drive would suffice). I'd like to have another identical drive as a mirror. The OS would live on a 424Mb drive, backup/logs to tape, long-term 'unload' archive to optical. I'd also put in 2 SCSI adapters. Where would you put the devices? Would you put the 2 'database' disks on the same bus, and all the other devices on the other? Would you put 1 'database' disk on each bus? If so, would you put the 'mirror' on the same bus as the OS, or vice versa? Where should the tape drive for logs go? I seem spoilt for choice. Perhaps, at the end of the day only a big testing exercise will show, or perhaps it makes little real difference. I'd appreciate your comments and suggestions.
