Even a manual transcription of a : work is still a "copy." : : If I do get any files from Informix for the archive, I'll post a notice. : In my last communication with Informix UK on the subject of InformixLink, I suggested their prices were too high. They said a lot of this was due to the charges they had to pay their current service privider. I suggested, therefore, that they run an InformixLink computer system on the 'Net and insinuated that this need not mean they had to provide free access to the information, but cheaper access than at present. The last reply I had to this was that they were taking it up with the US. Nothing has been forthcoming since, perhaps we're waiting for the current contract with GE Info. systems to expire, or perhaps they don't think this is a good idea. Regards Neil -- Neil S.
