The date data type is stored as the number of days since 12/31/1899. In any case, when you do your conversions, you should be able to use a "using" clause to assign your Informix data to variables in any format you like. For example you might do something like this: let ms_access_variable = informix_variable using "MM/DD/YY" That should do the trick. If you need time formats, there are some available (check the Informix documentation for the formats... I've not used time formats in a while, and I'd hate to give you bad information). HTH.
