Don't have a pre-written solution but here a few ideas we have used to solve the problem... 1. configure the laser printer to print 66 lines per page. The report configured for a line printer will also work for the reconfigured laser printer. Side effects are - the laser printer will have bigger top and bottom margins due to the header and footer you already inserted to line things up on the laser printer. 2. configure the line printer to print 60 lines per page using something like perf-skip. If your printer has it, great, if not,... too bad... 3. print all your reports at 60 lines per page and force line feeds into the first and last line of the page to artificially make the 60 line page look like 66 lines to the line printer. 4. The REAL fun one. define a report with no page length and handle the page breaks yourself. I have even gone so far as to define a page in a character array, format the page, and then dump this to the report a line at a time. Hope this helps without being too discouraging. If you have any questions about any of the above ideas, drop me a message. The stuff I did was for an HP II. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Informix Premier Var -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Miguel A.
