Off the shelf Accounting software for INFORMIX databases...

Hello.... If this is an FAQ, I apologize and please direct me to it--otherwise, does anyone know of/have experience with any third party,off-the-shelf accounting/ payroll software that can be used with INFORMIX databases or is written with the INFORMIX database engine??? I have a friend who has been running some apps written in 4GL by two contractors---he has the binaries but no source--and the guys who wrote up the stuff are now bye-bye. I thought it'd be a good time for him to convert to a stable package which could at least afford him some support(i.e., the new W2's--he still has reports that generate the old style)in the way of changes or such. Any and all replies will be welcome('cept flames). The rev number for this version of INFORMIX is 2.10 and the box it's running on is an Altos 1000 with the 5.3e kernel. Thanks. Paul E. Virgo -- d.j.
