User oriented GUI query tools

Is there a really good solution out there that would give one of our Windows 'power users' the ability to query on a central database server and bring up the usual pretty looking graphs, spreadsheets and reports. Currently we've got Informix ViewPoint, but it's not working (It requires TCP software on the PC that ceased to be sold months ago). We've also looked at GQL (which seemed overly complex) and IQ. We have the capibility to use X-applications under Windows if there is a good tool in the X arena. All suggestions welcome Regards -- Adam Middlemass (amm@booth.com) | Telephone : +44 532 832000 ext 2533 | Computer Development, Booth & Co. Solicitors | Tune in, Turn on, Burn out.
