Hi, What are the differences between IDS 9.21.HC2 and IDS 9.21.HC4? What do those HC stand for? BR, Edmund
HC means that its a 32bit binary compiled on an HP-11.0 OS. The differences between HC2 and HC4 is that they are interim releases and probably HC4 had got bug fixes incorporated in them ..:-) Thanx much, Rajib Sarkar Advisory Support Engineer (Wells Fargo Bank) IBM Data Management Group Ph : (602)-217-2100 Fax: (602)-217-2100 As long as you derive inner help and comfort from anything, keep it -- Mahatma Gandhi "EDMUND LAJARA" <edmund.lajara@no To: ids@iiug.org kia.com> cc: Sent by: Subject: HC1-HC2-HC3-HC4 [527] forum.subscriber@ iiug.org 02/27/2003 03:48 AM Hi, What are the differences between IDS 9.21.HC2 and IDS 9.21.HC4?
