Hi Richard, I've used MapInfo before, and it will probably do the job for you. You can easily unload data from Informix tables and load them into MapInfo tables. It has a relational engine, so you can construct SQL queries against the data, and use this data for geocoding, shading by values, etc. Check out one of the following: http://web1.digital.net/~mapinfo/ http://www.gisnet.com/gis/mapinfo/ftpsite.html I'm afraid I can't help you out much with GUI front-ends. I'm sure that Gupta, PB, Uniface, could do it (maybe NewEra...is it out for Motif yet???). Good Luck!
