Re: Shared Memory Not released

Sorry Brian, I looked this up in the admin manual, and I quote: "Once shared memory segments are allocated to the online system, they cannot be released for another use until the Online system is brought to offline mode" This was in the educational services Dynamic Server Administration class book. I will however keep watching to see if there are any gurus out there who can figure out how to do this without bringing the server offline. It would solve a few problems for myself also, if it can be done.
