I4GL does not set the isolation level -- therefore the default depends on the database. If it is logged and MODE ANSI, the default is REPEATABLE READ. If it is logged but not MODE ANSI, it is COMMITTED READ. If it is unlogged, the log mode approximates to COMMITTED READ. All this applies to OnLine only, of course -- isolation level does not apply to SE.
