Hi Michael, I have never used C# but before an authoritative response is given try the following: I 'think' the error ' server .. is not listed ...' talks about the local o client sqlhosts. Do you have the server configured in setnet32? do you mark the 'use my ssttings' in setnet32? I Hi, I think this is the solution. Although it started to work after some changes in the connectionstring by itself, I opened setnet32 and saw that the server got entered there by itself in between.
