Informix 2.10 Splitting Data Across File Systems?

I am trying to split some of my database tables into two separate directories. /z/info.dbs (where it is now) to /u/info.dbs I have tested one table. I put /u/info.dbs in my DBPATH to no avail. Can this even be done? Thanks for all help. Charlene charli@clark.net
