The database will run under IBCS, but the networking functionality (ODBC) will not. Perhaps our Linux Guru's Gurosity just wasn't up to snuff, but I *seriously* doubt it. I guarentee that anyone who tells you "no problem!" got the database up, but did NOT successfully install networking functionality. Jay
