Make sure the directory you copy them into ends with a ".dbs". Also make sure that the permissions on the new directory and the files in it are EXACTLY like the old database. Systables may contain absolute path names but my "dbrepair" utility will fix that for you. If you use transaction logging, don't forget to do a START DATABASE and specify a new path. DAS -- David A.
