Informix v5.03.UC1 On-Line Error Message

Hello Informix DBAs/Support Specialists, I'm new to this newsgroup so forgive me if this is a FAQ. Has anyone exprienced this error before on Informix version 5.03.UC1 On-Line running on a Unix platform. "09:18 I/O read() chunk 20, pagenum 60881, pagecnt 4 ---> errno = 1" "09:21:04 I/O write() chunk 45, pagenum 29295, pagecnt 1 --> errno = 4" ( repeated many times ) "09:44 I/O read() chunk 45, pagenum 4 pagecnt 1 ---> errno = 2" I have written my comments based on the Unix system call point of view. Please give your comments on this errors from the Informix prespective. Does this look like a raw disk permmision problem or could anything else be causing it. >"09:21:04 I/O write() chunk 45, pagenum 29295, pagecnt 1 --> errno = 4" Errno 4 refers to 1 EINTR "Interuppted system call" which is explained in manpages intro(2) as 'an aynchronous signal (such as interrupt or quit) which the user has elected to catch, occured during a system call. If the execution is resumed after processing the signal, it will appear as if the interrupted system call returned this error condition.' >"09:18 I/O read() chunk 20, pagenum 60881, pagecnt 4 ---> errno = 1" As for the errno 1 that occured per manpage it refers to 1 EPERM "Operation not permitted" which looks more like a permission problem. >09:44 I/O read() chunk 45, pagenum 4 pagecnt 1 ---> errno = 2" while errno 2 means ENOENT "No such file or directory".
