Hi, you have to do some configuration. Not sure what you've configured so far. The crucial configuration files are $INFORMIXDIR/etc/$ONCONFIG $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts or $INFORMIXSQLHOSTS (if that env variable is set) Sometimes this error is seen when a wrong protocol is specified in the sqlhosts file. Please cross-check against Machine Specific Notes (in $INFORMIXDIR/release/en_us/0333/...). On Linux the supported network protocol is "onsoctcp" (but not "ontlitcp").
