Obviously '-w' stands for 'whole system backup' which always includes
all dbspaces and blobspaces.
The important difference between '-b' and '-b -w' is that whole system
backups are always performed serially and will be much slower than
dbspace backups on large systems.
If you have less than 10GB of data or you don't have multiple drives,
then use '-b -w'. Otherwise use '-b' to backup dbspaces in parallel.
Hope that helps,
