I have a similiar problem. When I run the I4gL, it also shows the same error message. I have consulted the IBM technical engineer and he is very kind to suggest the following solution: If you have run into the defect 176051 after upgrading to AIX 5.3 TL 4, please apply the fix for APAR IY83580. The fix should solve the problem. I have implemented it and the problem is fixed. Please remind that my AIX is 5300-04 and I4GL is 7.32 FC3. GOOD LUCK.
