The same finger was pointed at our code. However, we found the answer to be an upgrade to 7.11UC1. So far no one at Informix has officially admitted to the problem in the 7.10 engine, but I have heard rumors as to the problem that I won't go into here. We switched to the 7.11 engine in November and performance over the 5.0 engine has improved tremendously. We are now looking at an upgrade to 7.13 in the next 2 weeks that will address new problems we are experiencing with indexes. If you would like to discuss further by e-mail is barryleb@mindspring.com.
