Cool SQL Presentation At IDUG North America

Have you ever done something exciting and/or cool using just SQL and wanted to share your success? Have you wondered if you could be a presenter at a conference, but doing an entire hour presentation seems like a bit much? With a nod to the Open Source Conference's Lightning Talks idea, here's your chance to present your SQL success without doing a full session. At IDUG North America on Tuesday May 8, from 1:40 to 2:40, David Link and I will be "moderating" a session called 'Cool Uses of SQL' where you could present your SQL. We will be sharing an example each and then the floor is yours to wow your fellow attendees. Each mini- presentation will be 5 minutes or less in length and have slides prepared to show the SQL, data structures, output, etc. If you will not be present at the conference, why not? But if you'd still like to have your cool SQL shown to others please submit your ideas to me via email and they will be presented, if time is available. Priority will be given to those who are actually attending the conference. -Darryl
Things like "get the list of all customers and sort them by last name"? ;-) I am a software developer, not very original... > -----Original Message----- > From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list- > bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Darryl Priest > Sent: lundi 9 avril 2007 16:43 > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Cool SQL Presentation At IDUG North America > > Have you ever done something exciting and/or cool using just SQL and > wanted to share your success? > > Have you wondered if you could be a presenter at a conference, but > doing an entire hour presentation seems like a bit much? > > With a nod to the Open Source Conference's Lightning Talks idea, > here's your chance to present your SQL success without doing a full > session. > > At IDUG North America on Tuesday May 8, from 1:40 to 2:40, David Link > and I will be "moderating" a session called 'Cool Uses of SQL' where > you could present your SQL.
