Re: A good book?

Being pretty much an amateur at this, but coming from your common MS Access background, I found the online documentation to be pretty handy, if a little bit out of date. You've got the SQL and database background, the the Administrator's guide does a pretty good job (again, I'm new at this) of explaining the architecture of the database engine and helping you administer it. I would look there first. Otherwise, I know that there's an Informix User Group out there and have heard that they recommend good books. Just scream loud enough hear and the "I Love Informix" Studmuffin - Billy Wheeler will point you in the right direction. {Comments about Billy are sincere -- he helped me in the past.} Eric Gavin Yan Zhu wrote in message <34DC93D2.31AD@wwisp.com>... >hi all: > What's a good book for informix server on sun box?
