Ansi Database question -----

Hi, If I want to join tables from 2 different databases and one of which is ANSI mode then it gives me a problem. To be more specific, I want to use sysmaster databse ( non ANSI ) and one of our production databases ( ANSI ). How can I do this ? Can I change sysmaster database to ANSI ? Thanks in advance.
