Boris wanted to connect PHP scripts on Linux Red Hat to Informix on Tru64 UNIX and asked where to find and install ifx.ec and php3_ifx.h. Jonathan Leffler said they are in the PHP source and PHP is built with --with-informix. Paul Watson asked whether that option was used and noted the SDK may be needed. Boris asked for step-by-step help; unresolved.

They're in the PHP source code - or were when I last looked which was
a while ago. You build PHP with --with-informix

Did you build the php with the --with-informix option? You might also
need the SDK on the Linux box
