Curses And Informix?

Hi, I am trying to evaluate Informix and it looks good except for curses handling. Apparently Informix has put several "curses" routines in its libraries used for linking an executable. I have run into the following problems: 1. I have to draw a form before I can use a curses routine called from a C program. (Calling intscr() from a C program causes the application to crash when a form is brought up.) 2. wclear() does not clear a window defined in a C program. 3. wprintw() is not defined. 4. I can't link with the curses library because I get multiple definitions. There may be other problems, but these make it hard if not unworkable to use curses. Any help would be appreciated.
