Hi Jonathan, thanks for reply. Here are answers to your queries - The connection comes over internet (thru a webpage) for login. Then user request some info and I could see session executes the query. I could not check if the data is received at the client side(the web page) but there is a port opened for this on client side machine. client receives the data , converts into XML and present to user. It is only one row. Informix IDS7.31FD5 client side code is java appreciate any inputs. You are getting some data - so the question is how is it being processed on the client side. What size is the row? Are any blob types involved? Which is the exact version - 7.30.UC1 and 7.31.UD8 are very different versions of IDS (separated by something like 5 years development, all else apart). What is the client-side code built on?
