Re: DBA question: 7.10 configuration

I've had similar problems with Informix 7/NCR configurations. The main (non-obvious) problems I ran into were the settings for the following: SDATLIM HDATLIM SVMMLIM HVMMLIM I would just set them to 0x7FFFFFFF (unlimited). This is also recommended in the release notes on my system, in "$INFORMIXDIR/release/ONLINE_7.1".
