Wait a minute Obie..... that's slap me as in "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" not 'debbie does dallas' ;) Jerry, Why'd you end up installing Oracle 10g? Application not available on Informix? Corporate direction change to Oracle? I know it can be tough to stay with Informix these days, but if you have to change, I'd highly recommend Sqlserver2005, not Oracle. But then windows server reliability comes in to play.... even so I would definitely say sqlserver2005 is a database to be watched/learned.
