Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi,
Well, we are doing a bunch of test relative to onbar in the moment.
Unfortunaltly, yesterday I had the error 131 during the salvage
of the logs.
#onbar -l -s
#echo $?
131
And I do not understand why because I tried the normal backup of the
logs and this one worked correctly.
So could you help to find the solution of this problem ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best Regards
Fred
Hi,
Before to begin, I would like to thank all people who have tried to
help me in order to fix this case.
In addtion, I would like to thank Beno't Godin -IBM Belgium- for his
solution.
This is the fix:
Indeed, the problem was due to the owner and the group dedicated to
the raws devices associated to the database
The owner and the group were root.root instead to be
informix.informix.
So be root and do a chown informix.informix on all raws associated to
the database.
Best Regards
Fred
