Is anyone getting any use out of the business graphics library at all?

Is anyone getting any use out of the business graphics library at all? All I need to do is to open up a simple line chart, with data from just one row in a supertable, but I need to open it repeatedly from different rows in the supertable and the window the supertable is in is itself a popu-up from a main window. Can't do it. Third or fourth access and the app blows. I've got all the graphics code in the supertable's row select event including the chart window's constructor. Informix technical support has been worse than no help on this. The tech support guy had an "engineer" on the line two months back, both of them agreeing that I might be experiencing a bug. But the "engineer" has disappeared from the scene and the ts guy calls every couple of weeks to ask me to try something that never seems to be quite it. (I'm quoting "engineer" because Informix tried to snow us on another issue a few months back, on whether 3.0 was worth waiting around for I think it was, and became clear in no time that that was no engineer on the line but a marketer). If the graphics package is totally useless, are there any recommendations for charting packages that could be used instead?
