Oracle - Informix Connection

October 21, 1993 Here is my problem. I have an Oracle database residing on a SUN SparcStation. I have created a database link from the Oracle database to a remote IBM DB2 database using the "Create Database Link" SQL command. This uses SQL Connect to make the connection between the databases. I also have SQL*NET installed on the SUN. This works great! The Oracle and DB2 tables can be seen from the SUN within Oracle. Joins and queries can be done between the databases. My next step is to create a database link to a remote Informix database from my SUN. The Informix database is on an Intergraph server. I would like to be able to see the Oracle, DB2, and Informix tables from one location, preferably the SUN. i have not had much success with finding a product that can handle the Oracle-Informix connection. I have inquired about Techgnosis's Sequelink. This won't work. I am waiting to hear from Informix about Informix-Net. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
