Online 7.11.UC1 performance

Dear All, We are having performance problems running Online 7.11.UC1 on Solaris 2.4. This system is slower than when we were runnning version 5 on Solaris 2.3. The degredation seems to be and overall thing with input/update programs and reports being slower. We have checked the stats using sar and the CPU utilisation is actually lower on the new Solaris that on the old. Alsi the disk I/O is lighter on the new version than on the old one. So it looks like the O/S is running better but the Infomrix apps are slower. We are not using the relay module and compiled the programs using RDS 6.01.UD3. We do have a slight I/O bottleneck on one of our disks but per sar this has imporved since the last version. Anyone have any ideas on this? Or is anyone running on these version. It is on a single CPU Sparc 20. I would expect at worst that we have the same performance as version 5. Jason Harris (RSWA)
