Hi All !!! From which version Informix inludes UDO. Is it possible to install it, if I have lower verssion. I have 4.20. Regards Igor

UDO is not really a physical option that runs loosly connected to the engine like Oracle features. UDO is currently a separate product, IDS 9.1x, which is a full engine unto itself but lacking some of the newer 7.2x and 7.3x features. The newly announced Foundation 2000 is a merger of the 7.3x source code and the UDO 9.2x source code into a unified product with the latest features of both. Anyway the simple answer is you cannot just install a UDO module over your 4.20 engine. Art S.
