Has anyone licked this? There's a built-in function available from 4.10 which allows you to trap the values of screen fields that haven't yet been (or weren't going to be anyway) passed into program variables. It's called something like get_scrnfld(), but I'm too shagged out to walk to my manual pile and find out if that's what it's really called. Having got it into the prog, you can display it as you wish. akent@cix.compulink.co.uk (Andy Kent) ------------------------------------------------ Freelance Informix Database Specialist, Redland, Bristol, England
