Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Client is VB5 (sp3) on NT4 (sp4). Server is Informix DS 7.3 on NT4. ODBC is
Informix CLI 2.8. Access method is RDO.
Problem: A column is defined as DateTime (hour to minute). A Select done
using ExecDirect returns 00:00:00 for the column, irrespective of the actual
value.
After some test, it seems that only columns defined as DateTime (year to
second) return the correct value. Anything else with time data returns
unexpected results.
The ODBC driver is not to blame. When using the ODBC API, it returns the
correct data. It seems that RDO is the problem.
Any idea?
