Hi Ramp! Even in a non-transactional environment, the Logical Logs will be used. The administrative tasks performed by the Informix threads will be using the logical log space, even if you don't any database with LOG. When you set the /dev/null, Informix automatically will set the flag "B", whenever the logical log gets full.
